I read "Dead Man's Island", a level 2 book in Oxford Bookworms Library series. It was written by Johan Escott.
Carol Sanders lived in Hong Kong with her family. But one day, she lost her father by accident so Carol and her mother move to England. Her mother apply for a new job to live with Carol. One day, she decided to a new job as a secretary. As a result, they go to an island. Mr. Ross is a man who live on the island. He is around 30 years old. Carol thinks something strange about him because he stops people from taking photo and he has one locked room in his house. Where didhe get his money from? How can a young man buy an island? Carol decided to search him.
This title is like a horror story but it is not. If you read this book, you will excited by it. Please read it!
